Day 3: Creating My First BZ Activewear Pieces | Bezi

Day 3: Creating My First BZ Activewear Pieces | Bezi

Day 3 of Building My Clothing Brand: Creating My First BZ Pieces 🀍

Day 3 β€” and Bezi is starting to feel REAL.

Today I'm working on something I've been excited about since I started this journey:

Creating my first BZ-branded pieces.

There is something completely different about seeing an idea in your head finally start showing up on an actual piece of clothing.

Yesterday I was thinking about colors, branding and how I wanted Bezi to feel.

Today?

I'm putting BZ on the clothes. 🀍

Keeping the BZ Logo Simple

One thing I knew going into this was that I didn't want the branding to overpower the clothing.

I want someone to notice the BZ, but I don't want the logo to be the entire outfit.

I'm going for something that feels:

Minimal. Clean. Feminine. Athletic. Elevated.

The kind of branding that looks just as good at the gym as it does running errands afterward.

I'm testing different logo placements, sizes and color combinations to figure out what actually feels like Bezi.

And yes...

I've moved that logo around more times than I'd like to admit. πŸ˜‚

Seeing BZ on Activewear for the First Time

This is probably my favorite part of the process so far.

A logo sitting on my computer is one thing.

Seeing BZ on sports bras, workout tops, leggings and shorts makes the vision feel completely different.

I'm starting to see what I've been imagining:

A collection of women's activewear that feels strong but feminine, trendy but wearable, and recognizable without being loud.

Pieces you can mix and match.

Pieces you actually want to reach for.

Pieces that make you feel good when you put them on.

I'm Not Trying to Create Just Another Logo

The more I work on Bezi, the more I realize I'm not interested in simply putting BZ on clothing and calling it a brand.

I want BZ to eventually mean something.

I want it to represent the woman who's building herself.

Maybe she's working toward a fitness goal.

Maybe she's building a business.

Maybe she's working on her finances.

Maybe she's raising kids while working a full-time job.

Maybe she's doing all of it at the same time.

She's becoming stronger in more ways than one.

That's the woman I picture wearing BZ.

The First Pieces Won't Be the Last

I'm also reminding myself that these first designs don't have to be the final version of Bezi forever.

I'm learning.

I'm experimenting.

I'm figuring out what looks good on an actual garment versus what looked good in my head.

Some designs will stay.

Some will change.

And some I'll probably look back at a year from now and think:

β€œWhat was I doing?!” πŸ˜‚

But that's part of building something from zero.

You can't perfect something you haven't started.

Day 3: BZ Is Becoming Real 🀍

Three days into documenting this journey, and I'm already glad I decided to show the process instead of waiting until everything was perfect.

Day 1: I decided to document building my clothing brand.

Day 2: I started defining the Bezi colors and visual identity.

Day 3: I'm creating the first BZ pieces.

Little by little, Bezi is becoming more than an idea on my computer.

It's becoming something I can actually see.

And eventually...

Something you'll be able to wear.
